The weekend of the much-anticipated Dolosfees has finally arrived!
Starting with a special opening function on Thursday and wrapping up with a high voltage performance by Snotkop on Saturday night, this year’s Dolosfees promises to be one for the books!
The opening function will be an exclusive evening with Corlea Botha, JD Mars, Monique Steyn and Ruhan du Toit.

Tickets for Thursday’s event are sold per table of eight, and can be bought beforehand from Elize Boshoff at R150 per person. Contact her on 083 6355358.
Friday
The festival grounds at Alkantstrand (opposite Zululand Multi Sport Club) will be a hive of activity on Friday and Saturday.
Gates open at noon for festival-goers to browse the many stalls, tuck into some delicious eats and let the children play on the inflatables.

Entertainment includes the first round of Zululand’s Got Talent, performances by Theuns van Zyl, Richards Bay Dance Company and ‘Straf Vir ‘n Lag’ comedy.
Ruhan du Toit, Bernice West and Francois van Coke will grace the stage in the evening.
Saturday
Activities start early, with Zululand Multi Sport Club hosting a 5km fun run/walk, starting at 7am.
Entries are R50 per person and must be done on Thursday or Friday before the event as no entries will be accepted on the day.
Enter at Zululand Multi Sport Club or Hippoccino’s on Thursday or Friday between 9am and 3pm (cash only).

The first 150 walkers and runners to cross the finish line will receive medals.

Don’t miss the action-packed skateboarding competition at Alkantstrand skate park from 11am onwards. It promises to be a thrill for the audience and competitors alike.
Don’t miss the crowning of Miss Dolosfees on Saturday morning.
Registration opens at 9am, with the pageant beginning at 9.45am.
There are three categories: Little Miss Dolosfees (4 – 8 years), Junior Miss Dolosfees (9 – 13 years) and Miss Dolosfees (14 – 18 years).

St Catherine’s marimba band and Richards Bay Dance Academy will perform during the day, and there will be another round of ‘Straf vir ‘n Lag’ comedy.
The finals of Zululand’s Got Talent take place on Saturday afternoon, before artists Johnny and Jacques Not Jack take to the stage.
Snotkop, Ricus Nel, Eloff, Andriëtte Norman and Tino will get the crowd on their feet on Saturday night.

Available at the gate, but if you buy your tickets from itickets.co.za, Sugar & Spice or Glamour Girls Arboretum before Thursday, they will cost you less.
You can either buy a weekend ticket, that will give you access to the festival grounds for both the Friday and Saturday, or you can opt to purchase only a Friday or Saturday ticket.

Party bus
Empangeni residents who do not want the risk of driving the distance, can hop onto the Dolosfees party bus.
There will be two round trips: Friday – departing at 4pm and returning at 11pm, and again on Saturday – departing at 3pm and returning at 11pm.
Safe parking will be available at St Catherine’s School, from where the bus will depart.
Tickets cost R120 per round trip and must be booked in advance. Send proof of payment to elize@dolosfees.com
Party bus tickets are non-refundable.
