An SOS from the Owen Sithole College of Agriculture outside Empangeni led local snake catcher Bruce ‘Braveheart’ McMenamin on somewhat of a chase on Wednesday, but the slithery serpent was soon located.
Having initially been told that the snake was blue, red, yellow and black in colour, it eventually turned out to be an olive snake.
