Dentists assist Mtuba residents at no cost

Sixty residents were treated at the municipality offices

Mtubatuba locals were provided free dental care when Richards Bay-based church members, SAI Centre, visited the area on Saturday.

Mayor Mxolisi Mthethwa welcomed the dentists who treated 60 residents at the municipality offices between 9am and midday.

Thumba Pillay and Dr Reggie Reddy, who led the team of doctors, said they would continue working with Mtubatuba Municipality, as well as assisting with agricultural activities and selecting a local school to help.

Mtubatuba resident, Mrs Msweli, who came for a dental check-up with her child, said: “We pay a lot of money for doctors, money we do not have. So this is much appreciated.”
