THE SA Weather Service (SAWS) has again warned of disruptive rains in parts of KZN this (Saturday) evening and into Sunday.

The areas in northern KZN that will be affected include Mandeni, uMlalazi and Nkandla.

“Widespread to scattered showers and thundershowers are expected over KZN from Saturday persisting into Sunday where we are expecting widespread (80%) over most parts.

Most areas are expecting rainfall accumulation of over 50mm over the southern parts as well as the midlands where localised flooding can be expected due to persistent rainfall,” the SAWS said.

Motorists are urged to be cautious on the road and residents in low-lying areas are encouraged to be vigilant.
