Disruptive rain to continue, Zululand region warned

Rain still expected to persist for the day

Cold and rainy weather conditions will persist until this (Tuesday) evening for most parts of the Zululand region.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) earlier today issued a level two warning for disruptive rain.

The impact-based warning effective from Tuesday morning until 9pm will affect: Big Five Hlabisa, Hluhluwe, Jozini, Mtubatuba, Mthonjaneni, uMhlabuyalingana, uMhlathuze, Pongola, Nongoma, uMlalazi and Ulundi.

“With significant amounts of rain already observed in places along the coast and rain still expected to persist for the day, localised impacts can be expected due to disruptive rain,” said the SAWS.
