Good news for motorists in 2024

Motorists can look forward to significant reductions in fuel prices at the start of 2024, according to the Automobile Association (AA).

Both grades of petrol, as well as diesel and illuminating paraffin prices should drop in January, says the AA, with 93 octane fuel decreasing by around 68 cents/litre and 95 octane by 68 cents/litre while diesel should show a major R1.50/litre decline.

Lower international product prices and an improved showing by the rand against the US dollar are attributed as the good news factors.
