Ward 7 Councillor Thembisile Ntuli urged residents to use water sparingly and to conserve it until the district municipality has addressed the matter.

Nxumalo said the water supply interruptions were caused by a burst secondary bulk pipeline from Mtubatuba Heights Reservoir (Bhoboza) to KwaMsane Reservoirs.

“Preparations for repairs have begun. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. For information, contact 035 5738600,” said Nxumalo.
