uMhlathuze Municipality embarks on stormwater clearing

Overgrown stormwater drains are being cleared to prevent flooding in eSikhaleni and other areas – with the City of uMhlathuze calling on residents not to litter and block drains.

The clearing comes after numerous complaints from several communities about uncut grass leading to homes being flooded during heavy rains.
