Suspects nabbed for various crimes in the King Cetshwayo policing cluster

Six suspects were arrested in a multi-disciplinary operation in King Cetshwayo District this week.

King Cetshwayo Cluster police spokesperson Captain Siyanda Shangase said the suspects were arrested by the Specialised Multi-Disciplinary Economic Infrastructure Task Team for various crimes.

“On Monday night, this unit conducted its operation in the Richards Bay, Gingindlovu and eShowe policing areas.

In Richards Bay, two suspects were nabbed for possession suspected stolen goods and for tampering with essential infrastructure.

“In Gingindlovu, one suspect was arrested for failing to comply with the Second-hand Goods Act. In eShowe, three were arrested for possession of drugs and dealing in liquor without a license,” said Shangase.
