Mandeni accident leaves one dead, five injured

A HEAD-ON collision in the early hours of this (Sunday) morning in Mandeni saw one person lose their life and a further five injured.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue who responded to the scene, two light motor vehicles were involved.

Two occupants sustained critical injuries while three were seriously injured.

IPSS paramedics attended to the injured, while Rural Metro extricated them from the wreckages.

All five were stabilised on scene before being transported to various medical facilities for further treatment.
