Share Christmas with a seafarer

SHOW appreciation for the work done by seafarers, who deliver 90 per cent of all goods and fuels that are transported around the world.

As we rely on them, so they rely on us to help them wherever possible.

This Christmas, as always, a number of vessels will be docked at the Port of Richards Bay, and the Combined Seafarers Club has begun the daunting task of preparing 500 gift packs for delivery to crew members on this special day.

There are two ways the public can assist.

One is by providing from a list of items regularly required by sailors, including: nail clippers, soap, playing cards, face cloths, body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, combs, deodorant, earbuds, arm bangles and keyrings.
