WATCH: Suzuki/Dice Toy Runs of Christmas’ past

Heading into the festive season and the end of another year, many people will be reflecting on the year gone by. While it has been a tough one for many, it’s good to look at the positives too.

And with that, the annual Suzuki/Dice Toy Run is fast approaching and one can’t help but reflect on the wonderful impact this initiative has had on the lives of so many children over the years.

Let this be a reminder of all the good there still is around you, in your very community. And best of all? It’s not too late to contribute.

The Zululand community is encouraged to donate toys towards this year’s toy run, which the Zululand Observer’s charity arm Dice (Do I Care Enough?) will ensure end up in the hands of children who will truly appreciate them.

Surely everyone has a little something they can spare to bring joy to a child this Christmas. As Mother Theresa once said, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”

Toy drop-offs and handover

Toy donations can be dropped off at Suzuki Zululand, which also serves as the starting point of the official toy run on Sunday, 1 December.

The toy run convoy will make its way from Suzuki to the Zululand Observer offices in Empangeni, where the official toy handover will take place – an occasion that is never short of warmth, joy and generosity, and is not to be missed!

The Suzuki/Dice Toy Runs of years gone by have been nothing short of incredible, breaking records year on year, and this year should be no different.

The phrase ‘the more, the merrier’ could not be more apt for this occasion, and all are invited to participate. What better way to end your year on a positive note and add to the season of giving?
