Richards Bay CBD flooded

THE rain has subsided at present in Richards Bay but dark clouds are still evident and more could still fall.

This after an incredible 203.66mm fell between 3am and 9am today in the CBD.

The precipitation was measured at the Richards Bay Clean Air Association station at the Central Sports Complex.

Although there is plenty of running and standing water in evidence, no serious flooding reports have been reported in the town.
