N2 morning crash leaves one dead and four injured

One person was fatally injured while an additional four people sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor, in a crash on the N2 southbound between the R102 and R34 in Empangeni today (Saturday).

Mounties Emergency Medical Services and KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded promptly to the call of a serious accident.

Upon arrival on scene, it was discovered that the vehicle had lost control and overturned.

All patients were treated on scene and stabilised before being transported to the hospital for further medical attention.
