Lifeless body found floating at Newark beach in Richards Bay

The body of an unknown male was found, believed to have drowned, at Newark beach at Alkantstrand on Friday afternoon.

The man, believed to be in his early 40s was found floating in the water at around noon.

While the circumstances are not yet known, authorities are still on scene and investigations are under way.
