Six people dead, dozens injured in N2 bus crash

Six people have tragically lost their lives in an horrific bus accident on the N2 between the Tugela River and Mandeni Toll Plaza this (Sunday) afternoon.

The 82-seater bus, believed to be transporting church members, was reportedly travelling from Richards Bay to Shakaskraal when a tyre burst causing the driver to lose control.

The bus crashed down a steep embankment leaving multiple passengers injured, including children.

Emergency services are currently on scene attending to the injured patients and the N2 is reportedly closed until further notice.
