The story of Shaka and other Zulu kings to be performed in eSikhaleni

The Tears of Shaka production will play out on stage in eSikhaleni this weekend

The story of King Shaka, the aftermath of his death and the three Zulu kings who ascended the throne after his passing, will come alive on stage in eSikhaleni this weekend.

Tears of King Shaka cast will take centre stage for two days at uMfolozi TVET College on Saturday, 15 and Sunday, 16 March from 6pm.

The story is written and directed by the legendary Bongani Ngcobo of Indabuko African Orchestra, and features local actors, dancers and musicians.

The audience of local dignitaries, cultural enthusiasts and supporters of the arts will not only enjoy the theatre production, but will also get to know various African instruments that will be used to tell the story.
