Robbers strike again at Empangeni superette

5 suspects hold up Kildare Superette in Empangeni

Kildare Superette in Empangeni has been robbed for the second time in just three weeks following the first incident in May.

This time, the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money and a voucher machine.

According to shop operator Salauddin Uddin, during this incident more than five suspects held up the staff at gunpoint.

Empangeni SAPS have secured the crime scene, and the shop remains closed.
