WATCH: 12 people injured in Meerensee accident

It was a shaky start to Monday morning for passengers travelling to work on the R34 Croc Rock intersection when two vehicles collided.

The accident caused traffic obstruction to vehicles turning east towards Meerensee.

There were 12 patients injured – two sustaining serious but not critical injuries – while 10 were wounded but stable.

All emergency services were on the scene.
