Arboretum shopping store remains closed

After the Essenwood Road Pick n Pay store was closed by head office on Friday, there is as yet no word on the way forward.

Management at the store were caught unaware as the closure came without prior warning. They remain in consultation with their legal advisers.

Equally caught off guard were the thousands of customers in Arboretum, Birdswood, Veldenvlei and Mandlazini, who find this the most convenient place to do bulk and day-to-day shopping.

Attempts to contact the franchise managers named on Friday’s urgent notice of closure have been unsuccessful.
