Kwambo NPO receives donations by local municipalities

Ethembeni Care Centre in KwaMbonambi receives donations from KCD and uMfolozi municipalities

GROCERIES, cleaning materials, and a nebulizer were among the welcome donations received by local NPO, Ethembeni Care Centre in KwaMbonambi.

These were handed over by King Cetshwayo District and uMfolozi municipalities to commemorate the festive season.

Located in Amangwe Village, Ethembeni is a step-down healthcare facility that supports patients living with chronic medical conditions resulting from a stroke, meningitis, cancer, renal failure, and injuries that result in long-term disabilities.

Currently, the centre cares for 24 patients and has the capacity to accommodate up to 65.

“As a non-profit, we are grateful for the strong collaboration we have established with the King Cetshwayo District and uMfolozi municipalities. There has not been a year that has gone by without their continued support in providing essential items for our patients,” said Mavundla.
