AFTER attending to an accident scene on the N2 near KwaMbonambi on Tuesday morning, emergency services had to rush to a second collision on the national highway, this time near eSikhaleni.

No serious injuries were reported in the accident that occurred at about 10am near the eSikhaleni off-ramps.

According to reports from the scene, both vehicles were travelling south when one rear-ended the other.

The bakkie that was rear-ended lost control and veered across the roadway, through the centre median, and came to a halt on the grass alongside the northbound carriageway.

The second bakkie veered off the roadway and came to a halt on the grass alongside the southbound carriageway.

All emergency services attended the scene.
