Bay outage being investigated

No turnaround time for restoration of power has been shared

THE City of uMhlathuze Municipality dispatched teams of electricians to probe the ongoing power outage in parts of Richards Bay this morning.

On its Facebook page, the City stated, “We are aware of the power failure affecting parts of Richards Bay and the CBD. Teams have been dispatched to investigate the cause. Updates will be provided as soon as possible.”

This follows another power outage that affected residents in Meerensee yesterday.
