Because the ticket was played via a banking platform, the winner will be contacted directly by their bank to notify them of the win.

ITHUBA CEO Charmaine Mabuza congratulated the winner, saying it was always exciting to see players win life-changing prizes.

“Congratulations to our latest Lotto Plus 1 winner. Seeing participants win life-changing prizes is always exciting, and this win is a perfect example of making it rain a lot of cash this March,” said Mabuza.

She added that the National Lottery continues to create opportunities for players across South Africa.

“We hope this win inspires others to participate responsibly and dream big,” she said.

While the jackpot winner will be notified by their bank, other participants may also have won prizes in the lower divisions.
