2 injured after vehicle plunges down embankment
Single-vehicle rollover on N2 outside Empangeni sees vehicle plunge down embankment, 2 injured
Two women sustained moderate to serious injuries after the vehicle in which they were travelling plunged down an embankment on the N2 outside Empangeni this (Thursday) morning.
According to reports from the scene, the women were on their way from Mtubatuba to Dlangezwa for a graduation ceremony when the accident occurred.

The vehicle lost control on the bridge near the R34/John Ross on-ramp on the N2 and plunged down the embankment, ejecting both occupants.
Mounties EMS tended to both patients on scene, describing their condition as serious but stable.
The women were stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
