Hands-on nail training skills build Zululand entrepreneurs

The programme also encouraged confidence, professionalism, and entrepreneurship among the young women


YOUNG women are gaining practical skills through Linzwa Foundation, enabling them to become financially independent.

The NPO facilitated a nail training programme for a group of young women at Zah Beauty Salon, funded by the Department of Social Development.

The women received hands-on training in nail care, nail application techniques, customer service, hygiene standards, and beauty business basics.

The programme also encouraged confidence, professionalism, and entrepreneurship among the young women.

Speaking about the initiative, Linzwa’s programme coordinator, Thamsanqa Ntombela, said, “Skills development programmes such as these play a vital role in addressing unemployment and poverty while helping young women build brighter futures for themselves and their families.”


The beneficiaries of the training included Sbongile Anele Mpanza, Ziningi Purity Biyela, Ngomuso Phiwokuhle Dlamini and Nokwanda Masinga.
