KZN premier to lead eNseleni crime-fighting imbizo

Local communities called to participate in crime-fighting imbizo in eNseleni

KZN Premier Thami Ntuli, the executive authority responsible for community safety and liaison, will lead a crime-fighting imbizo at Mzuvukile sports ground in eNseleni tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am.

This aims to mobilise communities, traditional leadership, civil society organisations, law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to create safer communities.

According to Ntuli, this is a whole-of-society approach to combatting crime, providing a platform for residents to engage directly with government on crime-related challenges affecting their communities.

“During the engagement, I will outline measures to strengthen crime-prevention efforts, enhance collaboration between communities and law enforcement agencies, and promote active citizen participation in initiatives to address criminal activities and improve safety,” said Ntuli.
