Empowerment dialogue for young girls this weekend

Women's organisation, Vessel of Honour to host a young girls' dialogue in eSikhaleni this weekend

Societal challenges facing the City of uMhlathuze’s girls will be unpacked at an empowerment dialogue in eSkhaleni this weekend.

The programme is organised by the Vessel of Honour network (VOH), a women’s organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young girls and women.

It will take place at Covenant Fellowship Church International (CFCI) eSikhaleni J1 Section on Saturday, 27 June from 9am, with girls from across the city invited to attend.

Mental health awareness, teenage pregnancy and personal growth will be among the issues discussed at the event led by Prophet Nomusa Dhlomo, an advocate for women and youth development.

The programme seeks to empower teenage girls, particularly those from previously disadvantaged communities within the City of uMhlathuze.

The young girls will receive guidance, mentorship and motivation from professionals within various fields.
