Pedestrian struck by bus in Empangeni

A pedestrian is in a critical condition after being hit by a bus at the Main Road/R102 intersection in Empangeni this (Thursday) morning.

According to witnesses on scene, the bus was turning right when it struck the pedestrian.

One lane turning left towards Empangeni Rail is obstructed.

Mounties EMS attended to the pedestrian, and City of uMhlathuze traffic police are also on scene.

Motorists should expect delays in the vicinity.
