Dolosfees promises plenty of fun
Top SA artists booked for this year's Dolosfees set to take place in Richards Bay next month
This year’s Dolosfees will feature some of South Africa’s top artists, including Prime Circle, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Fatman, Tino, ANGUS band, Saxby Twins and Local is Lekker.
Taking place from Thursday, 24 to Saturday, 26 September at the open veld near Alkantstrand, the Dolosfees is one of the highlights on the local entertainment calendar.
Festivities kick off at 8am on Heritage Day with a fun run starting at the Zululand Multi Sport Club.
Festival-goers can look forward to an action-packed programme that includes the Miss Dolosfees beauty pageant, art classes presented by Jamyn, a Plankie braai and food tasting, skateboarding competition, and plenty of stalls to browse.
There will be performances by Richards Bay Primary School’s marimba band, culture dancers and Richards Bay Dance Company, as well the Zululand’s Got Talent contenders before the main acts take to the stage.
For the kids, there will be games with Survivor Rob Bentele, inflatables, as well as babysitting offered by Little Musketeers staff.

Tickets bought before 23 September are R350 per person for the whole weekend, or ranging from R100 to R180 for one day only.
Children between 6 and 12 years old are R50 each. Children U6 get in for free.
Tickets at the gate (24 to 26 September) cost full price.
