The proposed activities trigger Government Notice 517 of 11 June 2021 as amended (Listing notice 1; Activity 20) which requires a Basic Assessment Report to be conducted as part of the Prospecting Rights application. The BAR and EMP report is prepared in terms of Section 19 of NEMA:EIA Regulation R517.
