THE issue of human rights nowadays is pathetic.

People have so many rights, that teachers cannot do their jobs correctly, as discipline is an issue, and criminals are free to do what they want as they, too, have rights.

This issue makes me sick, as hearing stories where someone’s life is in danger and when taking necessary action, they are in the wrong.

Despite feeling helpless in a criminal situation, teachers of today battle endlessly with pupils’ attitudes, lack of discipline and respect.

The pupils have so many rights of which they seem to abuse almost all of them.

Funny thing is that whatever the situation is, people always tend to abuse their rights.

I say, bring back the death penalty, to lower crime rate in South Africa, and bring back school discipline.
