I REFER to an article which appeared in the ZO last week which stated that the Destiny House Orphanage in Mtubatuba had its account frozen with immediate effect by FNB without any warning whatsoever.

The fact that it was then discovered that it was an error on the part of the bank added insult to injury.

Surely it would have been common courtesy to have contacted the orphanage supervisor to enable them to purchase sufficient food and other necessities for a few days before such a drastic action.

Apologetic words do not put food on plates.

It would be a token of their apologetic regret to donate some necessities to this orphanage.
