It’s that time of year again when you plan all the wonderful ways to improve your life and get the new year started on a good note.

If you’re looking for some inspiration for your 2024 resolutions, here’s a look at what’s trending – as well as some new ones to consider.

According to the Forbes Health/OnePoll survey, the most popular 2024 resolutions include:
· Improved fitness -48%
· Improved finances – 38%
· Improved mental health – 36%
· Lose weight – 34%
· Improved diet – 32%

While not as popular, some of the others that should be considered include:
· Travelling more – 6%
· Meditating regularly – 5%
· Drinking less alcohol – 3%
· Performing better at work – 3%

If you’re looking for something a little more unusual, here are some ideas you could try incorporating into your list.

1. Try 1 new thing every month, no matter how big or small.

2. Save an increasing percentage of your salary every month.

3. Plant a tree, recycle, or take up 1 new environmentally positive trait this year.

4. Change your look with a new haircut, a new colour or a new style.

5. Try 1 new recipe a month, adopting healthier eating habits.

6. Drink at least a litre of water every day.

7. Get into a regular sleep habit and get more sleep this year.

8. Plan 1 completely selfish activity, such as a trip, and work towards it.

9. Register to vote!
