Gallant NRB go down 1-0 against log leaders

Man of the match Veluyeke Zulu and his fellow defenders were on superb form and the loss was a cruel injustice

A SINGLE goal – and an offside one at that – saw Richards Bay FC go down to runaway log leaders Ajax Cape Town at the Rand Stadium this (Wednesday) afternoon.

Once again, It was the incompetence of the match officials, rather than opponents Ajax, who took NRB to the cleaners.

The scrappy goal in the 79th minute spurred the Bay boys to all out attack and they were unlucky to be denied a share of the spoils.

Man of the match Veluyeke Zulu and his fellow defenders were on superb form and the loss was a cruel injustice.
