Stalemate in Premier’s Cup final

Both sides battle with heavy conditions underfoot

The first of the Premier’s Cup final has been completed, with no goals and little to test the respective goalkeepers.

The start was delayed after a clash between the jerseys forced the Rich Boys to change their strip and it has been a tough and uncompromising match since then.

Four Durban City players and one from Richards Bay have found their way into the refereed book via yellow cards and at this rate it will be no surprise if somebody is sent for an early shower.

Both defences are dominating but the Rich Boyz, with the strong wib at their backs in the second stanza, look more likely to snatch a winner.
