Rhythmic gym girls do it in style

New North Coast gymnastics club shines at Gold Reef Competition

The North Coast Rhythmic Gymnastics club (NCRG) competed with distinction at the Gold Reef Competition from 26 to 27 July, achieving some great results.

The club was launched at the beginning of the year by coach Daniella-Leigh Serrao.

The impressive team comprised Anemé Fourie, Mileah Fourie, Isabella Lacey, Msebe Nkumane, Sukoluhle Mabaso, Mayande Langa, Thabisa Mvubu and Thandeka Gumede.

Anemé, Mileah and Mayande placed first overall, as did the level 4 group dance team comprising Aneme, Msebe, Mayande and Sukoluhle.

Also featuring well were Thandeka Gumede (2nd place), Isabella Lacey (3rd place), Msebe Nkumane (4th place) and Thabisa Mvubu (9th place).

This was an excellent effort from a new club competing for the first time.
