All systems go for RBM race
The race is hosted by the RBM Athletic Club, with support from MSEM and the Zululand Multi Sport Club.
RUNNERS are expected to turn out in numbers for the RBM Running for the Future Race this Saturday, marking 50 years of mining legacy while offering participants a unique way to commemorate Valentine’s Day!

Showing the popularity of the event, organisers have confirmed it’s fully sold out, with no late entries available.
The annual event will start and finish at the uMhlathuze Sports Complex with race distances of 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km, catering to runners of all fitness levels.
Participants are advised that race numbers can be collected on Friday at the Richards Bay Sports Complex from 2pm to 7pm.
There will be a limited number collection on race day, Saturday, 14 February, from 4am to closing at 4.45am sharp.
Runners must also collect the correct medal corresponding to their race distance from volunteers at the finish line.
Prize-giving will be staggered according to distance. Once the 10km results are finalised, prize-giving will take place, followed by the remaining distances.
