The Springs police warns the community about the increase of laptop theft.
Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora says the number of laptop theft cases opened at their station increases day by day.
He advises those who own the laptops not to expose and leave them on the front seat of their cars.
“We have found that many laptops are stolen from cars,” says Ramphora.
He concludes by advising the drivers to lock their laptops inside the boot of their cars, however, he says the police are investigating whether the reported laptop theft cases are real and not opened with the purpose of claiming from insurance companies.
