The police warns Kwatsaduza residents about a fake lawyer who robs people of their money.
Captain Johannes Ramphora of the Springs police says the man claiming to be a lawyer, targets KwaThema, Duduza and Tsakane residents.
He says the suspect promised his victims to help them to claim their road accident compensation money from the Road Accident Fund.
“The man demands a R10 000 fee from the victims, saying that he will use the money to ensure that the victim’s claiming process does not take too long,” says Ramphora.
He explains that through investigation, it was found that the man is a fake lawyer who robs people of their money.
The police advise anyone who sees someone suspicious, to call the nearest police station.
