The Gauteng Department of Education brought the initiative to the school, asking the School Based Support Team (SBST) to identify learners.
Grade coordinators selected male and female learners from Grade Five to Grade 11.
The hand-over was done in the school hall, and was attended by School Governing Body members, cluster leaders and parents.
SBST coordinator Thandi Sibeko said, parents were also informed about the different ways they can assist the school with their time and hands.
