According to Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora the two victims were inside the tuck shop when the three suspects stormed inside at around 6.30pm.
He says the tuck shop owner and his brother, who with him at the time of robbery, were instructed to lay down by the armed suspects.
“The suspects then fired shot, injuring one of the victims on the chest before running away from the scene,” says Ramphora.
He says the injured victim was taken to the Far East Rand Hospital for treatment.
The police are looking for the suspects and ask for assistance from the community.
