Kate dies at 46
Kate Sophie Manyoni (46) died at the Sunninghill Hospital after a long illness.
The Bakerton resident went to Sukumani Primary School and Phulong Secondary School.
She trained to become a nurse at the Natalspruit Hospital in 1989.
She then started her nursing career at Pholosong Hospital in 1993.
Manyoni joined the KwaThema Clinic as the midwife operational manager before becoming the assistant director.
While working as a nurse, Manyoni was the Ancillary Course lecturer.
She also played a big role in encouraging other nurses to study further.
Manyoni was also a motivational speaker.
She leaves behind two daughters Kholiwe and Busisiwe Manyoni, her mother, brother and three grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at the Bakerton Hall tomorrow at 7am.
The cortège will leave for the Pietersfield Cemetery at 10am.
