Daveyton - The White Star Supermaize Meal Cooking Challenge has reached the final stages of the competition.

The semi-finals took place at Elangeni Power Trade complex in Daveyton, last Saturday.

Three stokvels, Yithi/Rona, Bo Ntja Mme and Ithemba lama Khosikazi competed in the semi-finals.

Actress Lucia Mthiyane, one of the competition’s three judges, judged on the day.
Mduduzi Mabaso (38) from the popular e.tv series Rhythm City was the MC for the day, making it fun for the stokvel women and all who came to witness the challenge.

The contestants wowed the the crowd with their beautifully presented dishes.
