This conviction comes after Khumalo raped a 16-year-old girl at his home in Barcelona on April 28, 2015.
He was then arrested on May 7, 2015, for statutory rape.
The court ruled Khumalo unfit to possess a firearm, for his particulars to be included on the national register for sexual offenders and on the national child protection register and that he is not suitable to work with children.
Khumalo will serve his sentence in the Modderbee Prison.
