Twelve-year sentence for Twala

Langaville - Thokozani Twala (23) was handed down a 12 year sentence for a house robbery he committed in 2014.

Twala was convicted in the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court on May 3, for entering a couple’s home in Langaville Extension One, threatening them with a knife and taking their cellphones and takkies.

The incident took place on October 11, 2014, and he was later arrested on August 20, 2015.

Twala was then sent to Modderbee Prison where he awaited sentencing.

Twala will continue to serve his sentence in the Modderbee Prison in Springs.
