This comes after the mother of the girl from White City alleged that on June 2, at about 6pm her daughter had gone missing.
W/O David Mphali, speaking on behalf of the KwaThema police, said the girl disappeared and never came back home until June 4 at about 2.30pm.
“It is alleged that the girl was brought home by a certain man who said he had found her in a park.
“When she was asked where she had come from she claimed she had been with her boyfriend and confirmed that they had had sexual intercourse,” he says.
A case of statutory rape has been opened but no arrests have been made.
