The police are looking for two men who allegedly raped a woman in Kotane Street, Rest in Peace on Sunday.
“It is alleged that a few female friends were visiting a local pub when the one friend realised at about 1.30am, that one of her friends left without informing the people they had been partying with.
“She started looking for her friend, when she was approached by two men, one armed with a firearm, who pointed it at her,” said the police spokesperson, W/O David Mphali.
The suspects dragged the woman to a nearby church where they both raped her.
According to Mphali, the victim says the suspects didn’t use a condom.
After the violent act, the woman fled the scene and went to report a case of rape at the police station.
