The incident occurred at about 2.30pm while the daughter was having a chat with her mother in their kitchen.
Two unknown men knocked on the door and after entering the premises, they pulled out a firearm and ordered the victims to go and sit in the dining room.
The robbers told the mother and daughter they were not going to hurt them.
They then took R3 400 and account cards and took off.
No shots were fired during the incident.
Police are investigating a case of house robbery.
