Natural hair care Youtuber encourages women to love their natural hair

Nobantu says after she started growing her hair in June 2017 it was not as difficult to maintain as she had previously been led to believe.

KwaThema – Youtuber Nobantu Gumbi is empowering women through natural hair care.

Gumbi started her natural hair care YouTube channel, Nobantu Gumbi, last year after coming across a similar channel.

“I had long relaxed hair and after cutting it, I came across Yolz Channel, which inspired me to grow my natural hair,” she says.

Gumbi says she has no negative feelings towards people who wear weaves and wigs and, in fact, thinks they are great protective styles, especially in the winter, which is unkind to natural hair.

“I think wigs and weaves are great as a protective style, but you must not let them define you.

“I want people to know they are beautiful with their natural hair,” she concludes.
